The Grand Prize Winner for the 2014 CBC Poetry Prize, David Martin, will appear at this year’s International Festival of Authors as part of the Poet Summit. This event is scheduled for 2 pm on Saturday, October 25.

David Martin will join Gary Geddes, Catherine Graham, Julie Joosten, Jacob Scheier and Adam Sol. MC for the Poet Summit will be Mary Ito, host of CBC’s Fresh Air program.

Please note: Toronto Poet Julie Joosten is a finalist for the 2014 Governor General’s Literary Awards in Poetry. Julie Joosten, author of Light Light (Book Thug), lives in Toronto. Light Light is her first book. She is a first time finalist.
