PERMACULTURE LIVING CONVERGENCE 2014

This years theme is Our 5 year plan for the GTA. We will be engaging this matter through workshops, panels, unconferences, roundtables and presentations. It is also be a space where individuals, community and organizations can showcase their work and what they are doing in and around the GTA. We will be offering round tables on the projects and happenings of the year to strengthen the efforts of local agencies and change makers.

Our PermaCulture Convergences happen seasonally every year in the Fall as well as in the Spring. Our Convergence mirrors the seasons. In the Spring, we spring into action through action based activities and in the fall we prepare for hibernation and adaptation that the winter requires through healing, wellness and learning. It is a time for community and the leadership to come together for gathering, engagement, important dialogue, support, growth, and to learn from community leaders in action.

We focus on an array of topics and issues such as but not

limited to food security, seed saving, safer spaces, food policy and legislation, indigenous rights, eldership, wholistic wellness, community engagement, dismantling racism in the institution, transformative change and so on. Our convergences follow permaculture principles from a social, ecological and spiritual framework of deployment.

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?

No age limit, but bring your id if you are getting a student/senior ticket

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

we are planning the event near TTC. There is limited paid parking

What can/can't I bring to the event?

Bring a reusable plate and cup for lunch!

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?

Yes for sure if you want to gift it to a friend simply write: i gift this ticket to Last name, first name and sign.

You will not be able to gift the ticket if you have already been into the event for the day.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

yes please!
