On Friday August the 22nd there will be a near end-of-the-summer celebration with Jack Sparrow and his rum runners. They are taking over an island otherwise known as Rockpile West and rinsing it the fuck out -- both with dancng AND alcohol.

The pirates and their rum-runners are ordered to occupy the ship stage and the shore's dance floor.

If raid is successful we will also overthrow the stupid frivolous bureaucratic institution otherwise known as school in the coming month lol.

Congrats to Stella & Kira for winning the zombie contest last month.

This is also kind of a themed event. Wear a stupid pirate hat and/or dress up if you want!

The last few events went extremely well. If this keeps up and people keep coming and BEHAVING ACCORDINGLY, we will be guaranteed an opportunity to run one at Rockpile West every month.

There will also be talks of a #freetek for the last week of August prior to the start of school at this event.
