From Rio de Janeiro, Pedro Quental is a tremendous singer, guitarist, and composer of Música Popular Brasileira. Presently singing with Grupo Monobloco, one of Brazil's most popular live blocos and shows, Pedro's musical style is varied and diverse. A huge fan of American Blues and Soul music, as well as the rich songbook of MPB, Pedro is in Toronto for an exclusive engagement in an intimate setting before returning to Brasil. He will be performing some of his favourite tunes accompanied by Zica Silva on bass and Alan Hetherington, drums.
