Cheyanne Turions

Cheyanne Turions is an independent, Toronto-based curator and writer who holds a degree in Philosophy from the University of British Columbia. Most recently she curated the exhibition A Problem So Big It Needs Other People at Montrals SBC Gallery and authored the exhibition essay for Duane Linklaters solo show at the MacLaren Art Centre entitled Decommission. She is also the director of No Reading After the Internet Toronto, and sits on the Board of Directors for Fillip and the Canadian Filmmakers Distribution Centre. She was the Shop Manager/Curator at Art Metropole from 2012-2014 and is now a part of the organizations Lifetime Membership. Currently she is a member of the co-creative team for the Art and Society theme within the Cities for People project

Ame Henderson

Ame Henderson grew up on Vancouver Island and now lives in Toronto where she is Artistic Director of Public Recordings, an atelier for choreographic experimentation. Committed to collaborative working structures both aesthetically and politically, she maintains ongoing collaborations with artists from across disciplines and continents. Henderson holds an MFA from the Amsterdam School for the Arts. Hendersons performance works continue to be researched and performed at home, across Canada and internationally and she has been an artist-in-residence at The Theatre Centre and Harbourfront Centre in Toronto. She is a founding member of Project bk and works regularly with Matija Ferlin, 10 Gates Dancing, Dancemakers and Small Wooden Shoe. Her newest creation, a commission on the invitation of Toronto Dance Theatre, premieres in February 2014.

Alex Bowron

Alex Bowron is an artist and art-writer based in Toronto. She holds a BFA in Sculpture/Installation from OCAD University and an MA in Critical Cultural Theory from the University of Leeds. Starting from the premise that the act of looking is often overlooked, Alex is developing a methodology for art criticism that emphasizes a direct and sustained approach. She views herself as a committed observer of contemporary art, believing that the new role of the critic should be that of collaborator and producer; one who trades imperious judgment for a critical openness to gray areas.

Amy Lam is one half of the comedy performance duo Life of a Craphead. Life of A Craphead organizes the monthly comedy and performance show Doored, and were recently artists in residents at The Art Gallery of Ontario, where they produced The Life of a Craphead Fifty Year Retrospective, 2006-2056.
