Open Roof Festival's First Screening Of Closing Week Is The Canadian Sensation Closet Monster With The Sweet Soul Of Yuka
WHAT: Toronto’s Open Roof Festival (ORF), celebrating indie film and music, has reached the end of the seventh season of #MOVIESMUSICBEER. Closing week begins tonight with another event tomorrow, ensuring #OPENROOF16 ends on a high note.
If you are a fan of classic soul and R&B, then Yuka might just be your new favourite
band. The finale week kicks off with the seven-piece act from Toronto followed by the
Canadian sensation Closet Monster, which premiered at the Toronto International Film
Festival in 2015 where it won “Best Canadian Feature Film.” This debut by director Stephen Dunn follows a creative and sexually confused teenager (Connor Jessup) who retreats into a fantasy world to deal with his sense of isolation.
