Open Roof Festival Presents The Canadian Premiere Of My Blind Brother And Singer Songwriter Sam Drysdale

Toronto’s Open Roof Festival (ORF), celebrating indie film and music, is part way through its seventh season with this screening marking the beginning of the end. Next week ORF wraps with back-to-back events on August 23 and closing night August 24.

Hailed as a “songwriter to watch” by the Musician’s Institute in Los Angeles,

Sam Drysdale has already racked up a significant number of accolades. Citing John

Mayer, City and Colour, and Coldplay as musical influences, his set is guaranteed to

showcase some compelling, lyrically powerful songs. Shortly after, ORF presents the

Canadian premiere of My Blind Brother, which will take family conflict to a new level

when the rivalry between two brothers (Adam Scott and Nick Kroll) reaches a fever pitch

during a charity swim competition, as both vie for the affections of the same woman

(Jenny Slate).

Tickets on sale now for $15 each and can be purchased through
