Open Roof Festival Continues With a Screening of While We're Young and Music From The Heavyweights Brass Band

WHAT: Toronto fans of indie film and music will get another chance to watch their favourite stars under the stars, as the Open Roof Festival (ORF) returns for its sixth season, running weekly from June 17 through to August 19.

The eigth night of this year’s Festival continues with Canadian band The Heavyweights Brass Band. Inspired by the New Orleans brass band tradition, The Heavyweights Brass Band infuse jazz with influences from disparate areas of the musical spectrum and will be bringing their musical virtuoso to the ORF stage. The film of the night will be Indie Dramedy, While We’re Young, directed by Noah Baumbach. With knockout performances by Ben Stiller, Naomi Watts, Amanda Seyfried and Adam Driver, this film touches on age and authenticity, experience and experiments and what it means to grow up.

This year, our on-site caterer, Aura by Cashew & Clive, will present a unique, accompanying menu each week— the perfect pairing for a refreshing beer from ORF’s long-standing partner Amsterdam Brewery.
