On Wednesday, July 30, Toronto performance and training group High Heels High Hopes presents No Good Woman Left Behind in support of one of their friends and fellow dancers, Carolyn Van, who is without extended medical care.

Both as a dancer and self-employed entrepreneur, Carolyn is one of the hardest working women I know, says Carla Catherwood, CEO of High Heels High Hopes Inc. We are eager to do all we can to help subsidize the medical and personal costs that she will be enduring over her treatment and healing period.

Taking place at the Virgin Mobile Mod Club722 College St., the evening will feature musical guest Cory Lee and performances from dance groups fronted by Kay-Ann Ward, High Heels High Hopes and more. Guests will have the opportunity to bid on prizes during NGWLBs silent and live auctions with 100 of the proceeds going towards the groups $20,000 fundraising goal.

Im so overwhelmed by the outpouring of support Ive received over the past few months from my friends, family and strangers says Van. When Carla surprised me at the hospital with the idea of this fundraiser, I was so touched. Im also grateful for the opportunity to raise awareness about lymphoma cancer as well as young adults with cancer and just to celebrate life! This is sure to be an amazing night!
