Nite Comfort #6 - CHOBO, VON PIXEL, DJ MARY MACK

Things are getting rhythmic for this edition of Nite Comfort, as we welcome CHOBO, Von Pixel and DJ Mary Mack to the nite!

CHOBO - 11 pm

CHOBO are Jessica Cho and Benjamin Boles. Using drum machines, synths, effects, looping pedals and other toys, they make live improvised electronic music, without the safety net of a laptop or backing tracks. Cho is a classically trained pianist, while Boles's musical background is as a guitarist, but both produce electronic music and DJ as well. They are not trying to make house music together, but sometimes that's what comes out.

Von Pixel - 10 pm

Von Pixel is Tyler Von Muehlen. At many points over the last 15 years Tyler spent time throwing break in warehouse parties, playing at out door festivals, huge mega raves, and a long residency at a popular afterhours. He moved away from music to pursue a life as an animator / vfx artist and game designer until those things brought him back full circle to making music. These days- he is working in his studio crafting new music, animation & code.
