NEW ART NIGHT: The New, New Art Night or For the Things that are Yet to Come
A night of short original theatre works Our definition of "theatre" is pretty broad by local artists and companies. We look for work in all stages of development and have a special affection for work that boldly explores new material, new style of performance and is bold, raw and maybe not quiet perfect. The important quality is the courage of presented new work in any stage of development, from first drafts fresh out of the printer to scenes from upcoming new work that you want to test run in front of an audience, to fully-realized short pieces that would have no other stage. The pieces should run between 10-15 minutes and must be new work or dramatically reimagined pre-existing texts.
Performances will take place June 21st, 22nd, and 23rd at Videofag.
Saturday and Sunday's shows will be at 8:00 but due to the immense popularity of Videofag there is another company in the space on Monday so the show will be at 9:00.
To commence the forward march into summer and us having NAN for the first time during the summer months There will be a BAR serving DRINKS thanks to the amazing folks at Videofag.
