Music in St. James Park: God Made Me Funky

Join us in St. James Park for a free concert by God Made Me Funky!

Since its inception in 1997, God Mad Me Funky's high-energy performances and unflagging positivity have attracted a wide range of fans and garnered numerous awards. Among them a Toronto Independent Music Award for best R&B band, a 2008 Juno nomination for R&B soul recording of the year for We Can All Be Free and a Biz Bash Readers Choice Award for Entertainer of The Year 2012. Over time they have shared the stages with Afrika Bambaata, Bedouin Soundclash, INXS, Guru of Gangstarr, Divine Brown, Jully Black, Sean Kingston and many more, and proved time and time again that they can get any crowd up and shaking on the dance floor. GMMF has cemented a reputation as one of the most blazingly tight bands in Canada.

Our Music in St. James Park concert series is presented by the St. Lawrence Market Neighbourhood BIA. Check out our full summer line-up here: http://oldtowntoronto.ca/index.php/music-in-st-james-park
