Improvising and creating for performers with bodies.

Finding source material, creating material, Anne Bogart's Viewpoints, desire, charm, microphone technique and other things that matter on stage.

Working on presence, directness and clarity, this workshop will combine performance and creation techniques to make us better collaborators and performers.

We will work on creating physical material and we will work on avoiding the dreaded zombie eyes or tunnel vision.

Well work on having fun while making surprising choices and playing well with others.

Well work with Anne Bogarts Viewpoints, Laban States and Efforts, Jonathan Burrows proposals and a mix of other tricks and vocabularies.

Integrating Viewpoints and other strategies for working, we'll develop improvisation and composition awareness, bringing more ease and articulation in developing new work or staging scripted material.

Great for people with or without previous Viewpoints experience, I will share from my experience training with the SITI company and others, along with values and practices of my work with Small Wooden Shoe, Dancemakers and Public Recordings.
