"Most Perfect" Violin Virtuoso Vadim Repin Makes Toronto Recital Debut
Show One Productions proudly presents the Toronto recital debut of world renowned violinist Vadim Repin.
The International Press calls Repin “A Russian Paganini”. “A violinist of the highest caliber, whose musical sensitivity matches his immaculate technique,” raved the Seattle Times. To the late, legendary Yehudi Menuhin, Vadim Repin was “simply the best and most perfect violinist”.
Celebrated for his collaborations with the world’s leading recitalists, conductors and orchestras, in live performance and on recordings, Repin will display his captivating brilliance in a program of masterworks from the 19th and 20th centuries.
Pianist Svetlana Smolina, hailed as “an outstanding Russian pianist with a luxuriant tone,” joins Repin in works by Bartok, Debussy, Ravel, Stravinsky and Tchaikovsky.
