Mon Sheong Foundation Celebrates 50 Years of Serving the GTA Community with One-of-a-Kind Cross-City Relay

The Mon Sheong Foundation (MSF) is celebrating its 50th year of serving the Chinese community of the GTA with the Forever Yonge Relay – a cross-city event through Downtown Toronto, Thornhill, and Richmond Hill. This one-of-a-kind event will involve participants in walking, jogging, biking and other forms of transportation to complete the 30 km relay along Yonge Street, the longest street in Canada, chosen for its representation of “longevity” and “history”.

In Chinese, “passing the torch” is often used to describe the passing of knowledge from one generation to another, a philosophy that is reflected in the MSF mission, “Caring for the Elderly and Nurturing the Young”.
