Middle Childhood Educational Evening
Drop by the City Hall and take in the wonderful world of out-of-school programs. You will have a chance to:
- Learn about issues facing middle years children (ages 6-12), particularly from the lens of poverty reduction.
- Celebrate the successes of the sector
- Witness and learn about innovative, quality programming
- Take part in a musical interaction along with 40 middle years children from Toronto
- Access a variety of resources and research on this sector
- Network with other sector champions
- Utilize an online tool from the city of Toronto that highlights after-school programming by ward
At 5:30pm , an official welcome and declaration of Middle Childhood Day will take place, followed by an interactive musical performance including children from the Toronto Kiwanis Boys & Girls Clubs, Harbourfront Community Centre, West Neighbourhood House and Beyond 3:30.
