Sexual health is a critical component of the health and well-being of all of us.

Men of all ages often avoid asking questions about their sexual health. Meanwhile much of the advocacy and public awareness tends to focus on other groups and genders. It’s time to build a safe environment for men to address all aspects of their healthcare needs.

Dr. Dean Elterman is a faculty member of the Division of Urology at the University of Toronto and is a Staff Urologist at the University Health Network (UHN) in Toronto, Canada. He is the Medical Director of the Prostate Cancer Rehabilitation Clinic at UHN. He completed his medical training and urologic surgery residency at the University of Toronto. Dr Elterman completed a two-year fellowship in voiding dysfunction, neuro-urology, female urology, and pelvic reconstruction at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and Weill Cornell Medical College/New York Presbyterian Hospital in New York City.
