Macrame Plant Hanger Workshop

What’s it all about?

You asked, we answered. After her first sold out workshop, Jenny Morris from plantbaby studio is returning to teach you how to make macrame plant hangers–a form of textile-making using knotting that has come back in style in a big way. Through guided step-by-step instruction, you’ll learn how to translate the simple knots from your childhood (a la the friendship bracelet days) into chic wall hangers that you’ll be proud to hang in your home. Macramé adds amazing texture and coziness to any wall or corner of the home and is really fun to learn. Meet new people, master a new craft, and walk away with a hanger for your plant babies that YOU made.

What you need to bring?

You will be provided everything you need to leave with a completed plant hanger including rope and a gold ring. This will be hands-on learning and you will be provided with a hand out.

Who’s teaching?

Jenny Morris is the plant lady behind plantbaby studio. Working within the jungleloft (aka her home in Toronto) Jenny makes and sells macrame and leather plant hangers along with hand-picked, one of a kind vintage planters. Jenny loves working with her hands (and trying not to get pricked by a cactus on a daily basis) and teaching workshops! Tie knots and master this social, meditative and beautiful craft!
