The Mabuhay Philippines Festival is a unique event that involves various Filipino-Canadian groups that represent different regions, educational institutions and cultural aspects of the Philippines. It provides a platform for Filipinos to showcase their individual and collective talents in order to inform and raise awareness of the culture in the mainstream society. It is the only forum with which all aspects of Philippine heritage are explored and all artistic media are featured.

The festival theme for 2015 is "Kulay" or "Colour." The Philippines, being an archipelago of over 7,100 islands, is known for its diverse traditions and great respect for its history. This year's festival highlights the influence of colour in art, music, dance, fashion and culinary arts.

Experience first hand and learn about the different regions of the Philippines; each with its own distinct dialect, costumes, folklore, traditions and cuisine. The three-day festival will transport you to Asia's "Pearl of the Orient' to discover the Philippines without having to leave the GTA.
