This extraordinary series, Wanted, features an assortment of famous mug shots of influential individuals throughout history. In this series, Boudreault portrays figures that we idealize in society, those who have had power, and have incited change in our history. He demonstrates that these figures, who despite ending up in jail during their lifetime, are not people we would consider villains. Demonstrating an outlaw past does not equate to malevolence and that people can change. There is beauty and fragility to each of his characters. Each painting is a product of his hand, his imagination, his eye and his mind. There is no debate that Boudreault is a rare savant at conjuring up truth and authenticity in his portraits.
