L. E. Glazer’s new body of large format prints on aluminum entitled, Wish U Were Here, depict the synthetic design of some of North America’s most famous and unnaturally green golf courses. Using aerial and drone photography, Glazer engages digital technologies to articulate the artificial quality of these locations. His work offers examples of how unnatural manipulations of topographic patterns come to stand in for the timeless perception of grand natural landscapes.
