The Lonesome Ace Stringband features Chris Coole, John Showman and Max Heineman. The band started as a side project of The Foggy Hogtown Boys one of Candada's most popular bluegrass acts. All three play in the Foggies, but were itching to play some of the older pre-bluegrass, Appalachian repertoire. The three musicians take the old tunes and songs on a ride, while still paying respect to the tradition. Old-time music for today's old soul.
