Itzhak Perlman is the world’s reigning violin virtuoso, enjoying an iconic status rarely afforded any musician. His performances before presidents and kings are legendary, including the Inauguration of President Obama.

A Kennedy Center Honoree, he has won four Emmys, including a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award for excellence in recording, and most recently for the PBS documentary Fiddling for the Future, about his work as a teacher and conductor for the Perelman Music Program.

Itzhak Perlman has long been associated with the Israel Philharmonic, taking part in history-making concerts in Warsaw, Budapest, Moscow and Leningrad.
