Interested in learning more about the tarot? Have a deck, but haven't delved into it yet? Doing readings and could use a refresher on card symbolism?

This four part beginner workshop starts with a bit of theory, then examines the meaning of each card of the major and minor arcana, and ends with you and another attendee partnering up to practice readings on one another. We'll look at how the elements of earth, air, water, and fire, and the qualities of receptivity and projection weave their way through the tarot. In addition to the meanings of the cards, you'll learn techniques to explore their deeper symbolism, two versatile reading spreads, and tips on giving readings.

Things to bring:

- A notebook and something to write with / computer / tablet. A journal dedicated to your tarot journey is a great idea. If you haven't started one yet, now is a good time!

- Your tarot deck. It'll help with exploring and absorbing the meanings of the cards. If you don't have one let me know, I might have extras.

- Prepare two questions you will ask your partner when they read for you during the last session.

Sessions will be on Sundays from 2:00pm-4:00pm on April 19, 26, and May 3, 10. The regular price is $50 but if you sign up before April 12th, you can get the early bird price of $40!

About Laural:

Laural has been reading tarot for years, since discovering her Mum's old deck in a box in the basement. She believes symbolism and synchronicity let us play with the Universe, and that tarot is a beautiful tool to access that connection. Her readings focus on counseling for empowerment and self-development. She is also a practicing astrologer with a diploma from the Canadian Association for Astrological Education, and frequently combines the two mediums.
