HUMAN / / NATURE
Navillus Gallery presents HUMAN / / NATURE, a group exhibit that explores the
varied and personal connections between humans and the natural world.
TORONTO, March 5 - April 4 2015
As many of us live in a bustling city, we may be prone to forget how incredible the natural world can be. The interactions that we do have with nature shape our understanding and approach to something that we may have come to take for granted.
In HUMAN / / NATURE, notions of the natural world are re-examined by a diverse group of contemporary artists, each with a unique take on the idea of what nature means. From studies of light and colour to social and political issues concerning wildlife to abstract representations, the range of styles reflects the number of possible interpretations of the natural world.
HUMAN // NATURE hopes to inspire a conscious and meaningful relationships between just that – humans and nature.
