Hot sauce lover? Come and warm up at HiLo.Chef John Sinopoli (of Table 17 and Enoteca Ascari) will be serving: 3 ribs, coleslaw and samples of 3 of Toronto’s best Hot Sauces for $5!You’ll also be able to meet the producers of all 3 Hot Sauces:

Sandra DaSilva and Carlos Flores of No 7 Hot Sauce will be bringing their celebrated sauce. Carlos evolved his Mother’s Mexican Hot sauce recipe and makes this raw, vegan and preservative free Hot Sauce in Toronto.

Chef Rossy Earle’s of SupiCucu her Diablo’s Fuego Hot Sauce which is on many The Best Hot Sauce in Toronto lists. Her small-batch hot sauce is sought after all over the city

We (Dana and Joel) will be fermenting a one-off hot sauce called “Double Dragon.” We’re doing a single ferment of fresh hot peppers with garlic and will add dried peppers for a second ferment.

In addition to samples, we’ll be working with HiLo to make a spicy cocktail, all 3 hot sauces will be available for sale and there will be a raffle for free bottles of each!
