Headquarters is back with a STACKED line-up for our first show at The Smiling Buddah. For this event we bring you some of the most tantalizing local talent this city has to offer, as well as intrepid travellers from Aurora/Newmarket.

Ginger Ale & The Monowhales

After a two month break from the stage, local quirk-rock band Ginger Ale & The Monowhales will be bringing their in-your-face, danceable sound back to The Smiling Buddah for this riot of a night. Riding high off the release of their debut EP "HA!", as well as the honour of opening for Brooklyn powerhouse band Hank & Cupcakes, the Monowhales have been making waves in Toronto with their unforgettable and energetic performances. As if that wasn't reason enough to come out, they only have 25 FANCANS left, so make sure to pick one up at the show before they're all gone! The LIFTS

Since the release of their eponymous EP in Dec 2013, The LIFTS have been gigging up a storm in Toronto and the surrounding cities. Combining pensive, hallucinogenic lyrics with hard-hitting, bad-trip-inducing grooves, this band is a sight to be seen. With more music on the horizon the band has been diligently working away at their next studio effort, The LIFTS are poised for great things in 2015.

The Last Honest Fool

We first met Corey when he was playing drums for Toronto band Dilly Dally. That was many years ago, and since then he's picked up the guitar and taken centre stage as vocalist of The Last Honest Fool. These guys started getting the word out on their project this past July and already have a full-fledged music video out and a few singles online. This band has already made a powerful statement and we can't wait to see what else they have in store for us.
