GROWN: A Poignant Mix of Print, Pen, Photo & Paint

Thursday August 7th at 8:00pm marks the opening reception of GROWN: A Poignant Mix of Print, Pen, Photo & Paint

On until August 12th

OnlyOneGallery 88 Harbord St

Our canvases range from paper to plaster - taking a moment to consider the elements that have arrived in our lives. Grown or growing our vision is blurry but our motivation is clear. You were always one of us; you just don’t know it yet.

A world so clearly dominated by digital archiving, this refreshing group of urban talent seeks refuge inside gallery walls. OnlyOneGallery in Toronto, ON will become the hideaway for hand crafted low-fi art. Prints and illustration from Hannah Schroeter and Alfonso Bustamante will enchant viewers with intimate modern whims, while graphic and bold paintings from geometric master Colin Canary, spray-paint portraiture by Prince Fuze and rhythmic abstraction from Mony Zakhour brighten our corners. Gabriel Parniak will entice Torontonians with familiar faces, cut and collaged from our political lives while Ro Sabourin's nostalgic photographs and Polaroid’s balance grit and grace. The cyclical nature of art is seen to completion with a live work that encompasses each artist and their style.

An interactive install in collaboration with TO Collective and the artists will take place at 9:30pm, don't miss it! #krinktoronto

Special curator and artist talks Wednesday evening at 7pm. Contact sabourinrachelle@gmail.com for more information.
