Great Canadian Girlesque Expo 15' Ten Year Anniversary
WOW, it's hard to believe that it's been ten years since the very first Girlesque at the Gladstone in 2005.
That show was a showcase of performers and acts brought to Toronto to network, before social media was on our phones, and we postered to get the word out about events.
A lot has changed since then, and we now enjoy a thriving scene with hundreds of performers across the country and more shows happening monthly than annually back then.
So, a decade later, experience the elegance and decadence of Girlesque's ten-year anniversary, a grand celebration at the Virgin Mobile Mod Club Jan 24 and 25th 2015, celebrating our present, honouring our past and building our future.
With a display from the Museum of Canadian Burlesque, Girlesque will also feature stunning Headliners from around the globe, Canadian Icons and International legends, as well as some choice acts from the past 10 years of Girlesque.
And as always, we will have the best of the best of Toronto talent showcasing their artistry as well as workshops and classes and the Great Canadian Tease burlesque brunch.
