WOW! It's hard to believe that it's been ten years since the very first Girlesque at the Gladstone in 2005, a showcase of performers and acts brought to Toronto to network before social media was on our phones (and we used hand-drawn posters to get the word out about events).

A lot has changed since then; we now enjoy a thriving scene with hundreds of performers across the country and more shows happening monthly than annually back then.

So, a decade later, experience the elegance and decadence of Girlesque's ten-year anniversary, a grand celebration at the Virgin Mobile Mod Club Jan 24 and 25th 2015, celebrating our present, honouring our past and building our future.

With a display from the Museum of Canadian Burlesque, Girlesque will also feature a smattering of the young blood in Toronto's buzzing burlesque circuit, choice acts from the past 10 years of Girlesque, international guests and industy icon headliners. As always, we will also be showcasing the best of the best of Toronto talent.
