Garner Firebird and the Brad Harrison Quintet: A Movember Fundraiser!

In 1999 the rockin' instrumental trio GARNER FIREBIRD released their first and only album, "This Is Garner Firebird." Then broke up. Immediately. Oh, it was amicable. Guitarist Pete moved his family west for a job. Then bassist Scott decamped for New York City. Drummer Dino held down the fort, but what could ever get them to play again? Turns out it's the chance to play their febrile brand of fifties and sixties-inspired rock 'n' roll for the good people of Toronto at the legendary Hard Rock Cafe, for the great cause of kicking cancer where it hurts.

You don't need much! A measly ten spot gets you in. Mustaches are optional but highly prized and a willingness to let your big feet fly in the face of the beautiful cacophony these three cats make is crucial. And that's not all: starting things off is the incredible BRAD HARRISON QUINTET, Toronto's coolest jazzers, playing the music of the immortal Horace Silver!

Hot jazz. Cool rock. Cold beer. And the chance to join together to raise money and help change the face of men's health! All proceeds from the door will go to the Hard Rock's own Movember team! No one fights the good fight like the team at the Hard Rock. Come on by and show them they aren't doing it alone!
