In 1999 the rockin' instrumental trio GARNER FIREBIRD released their first and only album, "This Is Garner Firebird." Then broke up. Immediately. Oh, it was amicable. Guitarist Pete moved his family west for a job. Then bassist Scott decamped for New York City. Drummer Dino held down the fort, but what could ever get them to play again? Turns out it's the chance to play their febrile brand of fifties and sixties-inspired rock 'n' roll for the good people of Toronto at the legendary Hard Rock Cafe, for the great cause of kicking cancer where it hurts.

Mustaches are optional but highly prized and a willingness to let your big feet fly in the face of the beautiful cacophony these three cats make is crucial.
