Fundraising Campaign for New Regent Park Youth Centre Starts

The building housing Dixon Hall Neighbourhood Service’s (DHNS) youth programs was demolished as part of the Regent Park revitalization. If revitalization is going to be successful, community programs like the ones DHNS delivers need to continue. Residents are benefitting from new housing and other amenities. The children and youth who count on DHNS’s programs deserve a new place too, a place they can be proud of and call their own.

The City of Toronto, Toronto Community Housing and the Daniels Corporation have already committed valuable support for the new youth centre. Three million dollars must be raised to make it a reality.

For 40 years, DHNS has been helping young people nobody else can. DHNS’s programs are unique because they cater to the most vulnerable youth in the community, young people who often are not welcome in other programs.
