Free and Easy Wanderer: Spring Yoga with Julie

Spring time is wood time, the element associated with the Liver and Gallbladder energies in Traditional Chinese Medicine. This is the time of year where we experience the most new growth in the external world and a lot of strong internal shifting of energies which if blocked may manifest as increased irritability, headaches, digestive upsets or neck and shoulder stiffness. The ability to remain flexible while maintaining a strong creative vision for our future, in other words, the ability to go with the flow is the hallmark of a healthy Wood Element- hence the term Free and Easy Wanderer that is associated with a healthy Wood Element.

This spring, join Julie a licensed Acupuncturist, and experienced yoga teacher for a slow flowing practice inspired by the energies of the Spring Season. Our practice will incorporate yin yoga with some long held postures to release deep seated tensions and restore energy that can be dissipated in our lives through stress and busyness. There will be a focus on spinal flexibility, liver and digestive health, back, neck and shoulder tension relief, and opening to new creative possibilities.
