F.E.E.D Initiative, in partnership with the Toronto District School Board, Toronto Education Workers - Local 4400 and BevLab, hosts a photovoice exhibit highlighting the impacts of food and food-related entrepreneurial changes and resources on local Parkdale youth and the narratives that follow.

The event will include firsthand accounts from some of our student co-researchers, and brief presentations by John Weatherup, President of the Toronto Education Workers – Local 4400, and Irwin Eydelnant, founder of BevLab.

Photos and personal stories were collected by Parkdale Collegiate Institute students during the Summer of 2014 using photovoice – a research method used to engage individuals and communities who are frequently left out of important policy discussions and decision-making processes. This event is the students' culminating task and showcases their discoveries!
