Everyday Miracles: A Michelle Latimer Retrospective

Over the past half decade, actress/filmmaker Michelle Latimer has emerged as a singular voice in Canadian cinema; one who finds the miraculous and mythic within the everyday dramas of our lives. Spanning her work in music videos, animation, documentary, and short fiction, 'Everyday Miracles: A Michelle Latimer Retrospective' brings together, for the first time ever, Michelle's diverse output into a single evening.

The evening will include Michelle's Genie-nominated short animation 'Choke' 2010, 'I Can't Remember' 2013, a music video collaboration with Peter Mettler, her most recent short 'The Underground' 2014, inspired by the novel 'Cockroach' by Raw Hage, and several rarely seen works like 'Tomorrow' 2008, a Super 8 film staring Michelle Monteith.

A post-screening conversation with Michelle will follow.
