Street Haven at the Crossroads – Toronto’s first women’s emergency shelter – is commemorating its 50th anniversary with an open house and community barbeque. A fun afternoon for the whole family, the open house will feature delicious food, a DJ, live music including a special performance by the Street Haven Choir, fun games, face painting, a caricatures artist, remarks from community leaders, photo booth and more.

Guests will also learn about Street Haven’s remarkable work over the past 50 years, significantly improving the lives of countless women in Toronto by providing them with the tools and resources needed to achieve their potential and improve their quality of life.
