Da Nutcracker & Da Rat Bastard, or Sophia's Dream: A Holiday Farce
Sophia is having a very strange holiday. Her grandfather just came out of the closet, her brother is summoning ancient spirits, and her mother is forcing them all to celebrate Christmas in a neurotic effort to conform to society's norms they're Jewish. But family trouble is just the beginning, as Sophia is soon transported to a hallucinatory jungle populated by tigers, camels, and rats oh my! in a quest to find love and bust nuts. At the heart of this surreal journey lies a mysterious man battling an ancient curse with his talented tongue: DA NUTCRACKER.
The show plays twice: Dec. 19 and 20, and we begin at 9:00 Sharp. Please arrive between 8:00-8:45.
