What better way to herald the arrival of Spring than by solving a murder? Award-winning Author-illustrator and CBC broadcaster Kevin Sylvester hosts a murder-mystery writing workshop for sleuths aged 8-12. Afterwards, there's a book launch for Kevin's latest Neil Flambé novel, The Bard’s Banquet.

Kevin will present young sleuths with the premise for a mystery set in the kitchen of Wanda’s Pie-in-the-Sky Bakery, and help them compose an ending to it based on clues they find during a guided walk/ scavenger hunt through Toronto’s historic Kensington Market.

The session will finish at 3pm. Kevin will then read and sign copies of his Neil Flambé and The Bard’s Banquet. All are welcome to attend the launch party.
