Our instructor Augustine joins us from Hong Kong. While respecting traditional Chinese brush stroke, the class will delve into more abstract landscapes through the use of leaves. This two day class will walk you through the basics of Chinese brush stroke, with all materials included, starting on paper and moving to wood, so you can come out confident with a new creative skill and a number of works.

Augustine studied Chinese ink painting as a stream in his university program. Since coming to Toronto at the beginning of the summer he has has one of his ink paintings put on show at Articulations gallery and will have three more pieces on show at Graven Feather in November.
