CLARA ENGEL (http://claraengel.bandcamp.com/)

Toronto outsider singer/songwriter creates dark looming song structures built from drone like instrumental hums, that her voice towers over, unwavering. Rich compositions meander a questioning world, hints of hope drift through like tumble weeds. Sounds from some lost town industrial town, her vocals float across empty plains becoming one with the spirits who now inhabit that land.

DIVINE CIRCLES (http://divinecircles.bandcamp.com/album/oblivion-songs-digital-version)

Asheville violinist Meg Mulhearn's solo project sees her delve into deeply personal territory. Looped violin textures provide a back drop for her storyteller-esque vocals. Manipulating her violin, she layers it making it larger than life. Crushing distorted drones run underneath frantic plucking. Her techniques are reminiscent of classic shoegaze, but with more ferocity & raw emotion.

LUNAR CREATURE (https://soundcloud.com/divinecircles/ancestors-lunar-creature-new)

Asheville, violin, guitar & synth duo of Meg Mulhearn & David Lynch build dark acoustic landscapes. Sparse notes trickle past each other in what seems to be an expanse of infinite space. Slowly errand notes stretch themselves out to fill the space & build a dialogue of synth bloops and guitar fuzz. Deep drones meld time together, paving the expanse with languid textures.

GARDENER (http://gardenermusic.bandcamp.com/)

Chicago synth drone act Gardener makes beautiful delicate melancholic music. Distant faint howling nodes whisper as they pass each other. Spundstreams glow with blue light as they flow through a deep arctic jungle. Otherworldly yet made from the forgotten fabrics of earth.
