Celebrate Canada's 149th birthday in Toronto on Friday, July 1 from 5 to 10:30 pm at Mel Lastman Square! Enjoy family-friendly festivities including free face painting followed by pop-up performances by Toronto band, Turbo Street Funk, and Hoop Dancer, Lisa Odjig. Live music by nine-piece funk band, The Soul Motivators, will be followed by a performance from Juno-nominated hip-hop artist Emmanuel Jal. A spectacular fireworks display will end the night.
