STUDENTS WILL LEARN HOW TO:
Make Swiss Meringue Buttercream
Properly mask a cake using Swiss Meringue Buttercream
Pipe a variety of popular decorative techniques including:
Ruffles
Decorative Boarders
Scallops
Swags
Frills
Accurately colour Buttercream, including the ombre technique
STUDENTS MUST BRING:
8” round cake filled and unmasked. Please fill with a light coloured frosting or buttercream (preferably vanilla).
The cake must be a minimum of 4” high when filled and stacked (approximately 3-4 layers of cake).
STUDENTS MUST WEAR:
Flat closed hard toe shoes
Apron
Hair must be tied back
