Borrel is back! Every Sunday afternoon, The Ossington hosts a ‘borrel,’ modelled after the grand Dutch tradition of slowing down the day with a few drinks, comfort food and some good company.

Now that the weather is cooling off again, we've brought back 'stamppot,' the definitive Dutch comfort food, a delicious combination of mashed potatoes and kale, served with smoked sausage and lardons and topped with gravy (a vegetarian option is also available).

Other tasty favourites include 'bitterballen,' minced chicken cooked in a savoury roux, rolled into balls, breaded and deep-fried, served with a special mustard from the North of Holland; and 'poffertjes,' mini pancakes topped with icing sugar and butter.

Join us Sundays from 1 p.m. - 6 p.m. for some relaxed afternoon drinks and delicious Dutch delicacies!
