One of the most talented up and coming bands in all of Canada, it really is an honour having Sam Taylor & The East End Love perform every third Sunday of the month at the Linsmore for our Blues Sunday Series!

When the world gets down on Sam Taylor, Sam Taylor gets down on a Les Paul. Hailing from St.Thomas, ON, Sam Taylor is a born entertainer with a penchant for raw blues music, and lyrics that bely someone much older than his 23 years. With an enormous stage presence, it comes as no surprise that this multi-talented singer/songwriter has been performing internationally since the age of 7. After graduating from Fanshawe College with a diploma in Music Industry Arts, Sam headed into EMAC Studios with producer Moe Berg (of Pursuit of Happiness) on two original songs; Thought of Leaving and Loaded Gun, both of which received airplay across Southern Ontario. Loaded Gun has also been featured in the tv shows Haven, Cracked, and Degrassi. Sam’s versatile and honest songwriting gives his music the emotional edge that sets him apart as a talented up and comer. His songwriting can be heard on his collaborations with other Canadian recording artists, the most notable being Chad Price.

Sam currently resides in Toronto where he leads his blues trio, The East End Love, with a frenzy of electric blues riffs that keep his audience as entranced as his band. They regularly perform across the city and were recently featured ina live off the floor performance and interview at Orange Lounge Studios for the Degassi Soundtrack Sessions. The trio is currently working on their debut E.P. set to be released in the Summer of 2015 by Toronto’s Facilitator Records.

Sam Taylor and the East End Love deliver a soulful musical experience with an emphasis on spontaneity and solid band chemistry. These young men are on a mission to leave their audience walking away with a show and a soundtrack they will not soon forget.

Formed in early 2012, Sam Taylor and the East End Love features, Drummer Jace Traz who also fronts the band All Dressed, while Bassist David Macmichael shares his time fronting the Danger Bees.

Sam Taylor and the East End Love will be performing at the Linsmore Tavern every THIRD Sunday of the month at 7pm. There is no cover, so come out and enjoy the Blues Sunday at the Linsmore Tavern!
