PHLIP ARIMA is the author of five books of poetry and fiction, the most recent being Pin Pricks (Quattro Books). He has also produced an audio CD of select poems from his first two collections. His work has been adapted to stage by Newfoundland's Neighbourhood Dance works in collaboration with RCA Theatre, and to video by Vision Television. He is a former Artistic Director of the Art Bar poetry series and was a co-organizer/host of The Basement Reading series as well as one of the rotating hosts for the Syntactic Sunday series. SONIA DI PLACIDO is a graduate of the Ryerson Theatre School,1996, and holds an Hons. BA Humanities, York University, 2006. A member of The League of Canadian Poets & The Association of Italian Canadian Writers Sonia has chapbooks, Vulva Magic, Lyrical Myracle Press, 2004 & Forest Primitive (Ekphrastic poems) Aeolus House Press, 2008, which began the officious enterprise to publication of dancing in-words. Sonia has dancing words in print & online literary journals & anthologies such as Puritan, White Wall Review, Jacket2 & The California Journal of Women Writers. Poet to Poet, An Anthology & her book Exaltation in Cadmium Red were both published by Guernica Editions in 2012.
LIZ HOWARD was born and raised in rural Northern Ontario and is currently a poet and cognition research officer in Toronto. She is co-curator of the feminist reading series AvantGarden and graduate of the MFA program in Creative Writing from The University of Guelph. Her chapbook Skullambient (Ferno House Press) was shortlisted for the 2012 bp Nichol Chapbook Award. Her first full-length collection, Infinite Citizen of the Shaking Tent, was recently published by McClelland & Stewart.
