Bill Cunningham New York introduced by Justine Iaboni

On Tuesday October 15th join us for Richard Press' documentary Bill Cunningham New York, introduced by Toronto-based blogger, writer and film lover Jetset Justine.

The New York Times octogenarian photographer Bill Cunningham is a Schwinn-riding cultural anthropologist who has spent decades obsessively and inventively chronicling fashion trends and high-society charity soires. Documenting uptown fixtures including Vogue editrix Anna Wintour, Tom Wolfe, Brooke Astor and David Rockefeller, downtown eccentrics and everyone in between, Cunningham's enormous body of work is more reliable than any catwalk as a guide to who's wearing what, when and where. A fitting tribute to a dedicated follower of fashion, Bill Cunningham New York is a delicate, funny, and often poignant portrait of a singular artist possessed of both a keen eye and an unassuming grace.
