Balfolk Toronto is excited to announce our THIRD BIG BAL! Western European Social Dancing

Many of you joined us in 2014 at 918 Bathurst - well we're doing it all again, this time at St. Vlad's on Spadina just south of Harbord, west side of the street.

Seaglass will be performing, a band all the way from the States, as well as local bands Bourre Trois, Toronton Pelimannit, and others!

Come dance with us Friday, February 27 at St. Vlad's Institute Theatre in Toronto. We'll be dancing old Breton dances get your pinky muscles working!, groovy new versions of the partner dances scottische, mazurka and waltz, and the famous dance from Auvergne: the bouree, plus some group dances: cercle circassien and jigue chaperloise!

We've been learning/dancing these French and Breton dances in small cafes and Dufferin Grove Park for almost 2 years now in Toronto every Monday, and its time again to put on a big Bal and invite you all to join us.

6:30 - 7:15 pm ... Folk Dance workshop for Families bring the kids!

7:30 - 8pm ... Intro to Balfolk dances

8pm - Midnight ... Bal with live music!
