The Tibetan Canadian Cultural Centre is very excitedly looking forward to hosting the screening of the 2 latest Award-winning Documentary Films ”Dalai Lama Awakening” and ”Compassion in Action” directed and produced by Khashyar Darvich, receiver of numerous film awards and creator of “Dalai Lama Renaissance”. The narrator of the films is famous actor Harrison Ford.

When: Saturday January 24 th, 2015

Venue:- Tibetan Canadian Cultural Centre ( Gangjong Chodenling) at 40 Titan Road ( on Islington), Toronto, closest major intersection Queensway.

Directions for those taking TTC: 1) if taking streetcar, hop on 501 Queen Streetcar going west straight to Islington, get off at Titan Road, walk up 5 minutes to Tibetan Canadian Cultural Centre. 2) by subway, go to Islington subway, take 110 C Islington South ( just 5 min bus ride) to Titan Road and walk up on your right corner on Titan Road.

Time :- 3.45 – 6 pm for ” Dalai Lama Awakening”. Everyone please arrive by 3.30 pm.

6.00 – 6.30 pm Q & A with Director

6.30 – 7 pm Break (Tibetan food, snacks etc. available for sale)

7.15 – 8.05 for ” Compassion in Action”

8.05- 8.35 Q & A, signing DVDs and speaking personally with

the audience
