On Wednesday, November 25, 2015, the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP)’s Greater Toronto Chapter will celebrate two decades of giving at their Philanthropy Awards, the annual awards program that celebrates the outstanding contributions of Canadians. The 2015 Philanthropy Awards will honour seven Toronto-area charitable citizens and organizations for their dedication to philanthropy.

The following extraordinary recipients will be honoured:

• Peter Gilgan, Outstanding Philanthropist

• Salah L. Bachir, Outstanding Volunteer

• Hatch, Outstanding Corporation

• Rogers Foundation, Outstanding Foundation

• Madi Vanstone, Outstanding Youth in Philanthropy

• Amici Camping Charity, Mo Davies Small Organization for Excellence in Fundraising

• Darrell Louise Gregersen FAHP, ICD.D, Outstanding Fundraising Professional

WHAT: Since 1995, AFP’s Greater Toronto Chapter has honoured outstanding Canadians who have set new standards in the acts of giving and volunteering during its annual Philanthropy Awards Luncheon. Once again, this year's luncheon will take place during AFP’s Greater Toronto Chapter’s annual Congress 2015 conference.
