Artist Talk and Screening with Manuel Saiz

Join us for an artist talk and screening of several fascinating video works by Berlin-based artist Manuel Saiz!

Saiz began his practice in the 1980s, working in painting, sculpture, and photography, and has produced mainly video and media installations since 1995. Since then he has exhibited internationally at venues including the Whitechapel Gallery and ICA in London, the Intercommunication Center in Tokyo, the Sao Paolo Biennial, and Transmediale Berlin. Additionally he has curated projects for the Tate Modern and Hara Museum, Tokyo. Of Other Faces at TYPOLOGY is the first exhibition of work by Saiz in Canada.

Artist talk and screening starts at 1pm on Saturday, September 20th. The third floor project space will be open at 12 pm for those who would like to see Saizs work before the event.

Event is free to attend but space is limited, so please RSVP to info@typology.ca to reserve your spot and receive more information. Refreshments will be served and all are welcome.
